Turning their attention to the solar power challenge, Lakehouse's technical roofing team were certain that the best result would be achieved through a combination or MArley Ecologic Roof Tiles (50% recycled content) and Solar Century's technically brilliant Photovoltaic Tiles (PVT's) in what is belived to be a unique combination or foong materials that they call their 'Smart Roof system'.

This 'Smart Roof System' that Lakehouse devised, achieves not once but three environmentally friendly benefits simultaneously;

1 The remove of Nitrogen Oxide (Nox) pollutants from the atmosphere via the Titanium Dioxide-coated, conrete Marley Ecologic Tiles ( one average roof is anticipated to remove the equivalent of 100,000 miles of Nox from the atmosphere in its life time)

2 The utilisation or recycled content in the Ecologic conrete roof tiles

3 Provide clean, free electricity via the Photovoltaic tiles - an amount equivalent to around a third of each household's annual electricity consumption
